ADS CLEANING takes cleaning seriously especially under current times during extreme circumstances as the world is being faced with a strong variant named Coronavirus, otherwise known as COVID-19.

Taking precautions where possible, trying to reduce contact with customers whilst still trying to provide good customer service.

Cleaners working in conjunction with ADS CLEANING try and sanitise as many surfaces as possible to try and ensure that any bacteria and viruses are being removed from our customer's homes and workplaces. This is paramount if we are going to beat Coronavirus once and for all.

Let's all work together to continue to keep our distance whilst providing good customer service, making as many contactless  - card payments as possible, trying to keep people at work during these very difficult times whilst trying to beat one of the worse viruses on Earth since 2019.

Thank you,

FACE COVERING EXEMPTION

Face Covering Exemptions

As of 23rd September 2020

Face coverings are legally required for users in England, Scotland, and Wales (subject to exemptions)

To help protect the health and safety of everyone, face coverings or masks are mandatory for anyone cleaning with ADS CLEANING. This is subject to the exemption set out below.

If you are cleaning with ADS CLEANING and your customer does not have a face covering, you can cancel your clean if you don't feel safe when attending their property. The customer would also be entitled to cancel their clean if the cleaner is not wearing a face-covering or face mask.

We ask that customers and cleaners are all mindful of people with disabilities and other mental health conditions when carrying out cleans.

Anyone who is required to wear a face-covering and repeatedly fails to do so will permanently lose their cleans given by ADS CLEANING if multiple customers complain.

Where to get face coverings:

When wearing a face covering or mask, make sure it covers your face from the bridge of your nose down to your chin. You can learn more about face coverings, including how to make one at home, on this UK Government advice page.

We would recommend you cover your hands and feet when cleaning as well to reduce the spread of germs and other viruses.

Exemptions from face coverings:-

Some cleaners are not required to wear a face covering, however, this would not necessarily stop the customer from wearing a face-covering if they would like.

Some of our cleaners with disabilities may require you to remove your face covering / face mask temporarily in order for the cleaner to hear you more clearly or lip-read as some may be deaf as part of their disability.

Please be mindful of their disability and keep as much distance where possible.

It is required by law to wear a face mask in public unless you are exempt due to your current disability.

when you are in a room on your own and are struggling to breathe when clean this would be allowed for the removal of the face mask. If you are struggling to breathe, require to drink or eat, or to take medication you would be allowed to remove the mask and should return it to your face where necessary.

What to do if you are exempt:

If a cleaner is exempt from this requirement, they should explain to the customer as soon as possible that they are exempt and that under UK Law are not required to wear a face-covering if they suffer from a disability - Based on Government Guidance.

This UK Government website contains cards and badges (digital and print) to show that you are exempt from wearing a face covering. Transport for London has also developed face-covering exemption badges, which are available to order online or by phone, to show that a user is exempt. If you are exempt, you may wish to use these to show your customer at the beginning of your clean.

If you have any doubts or concerns about wearing a face covering or mask, we recommend that you seek the advice of your doctor.

If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, please contact ADS CLEANING support.
